Barbara Van Ittersum is a 49 year old photographer, who lives in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, here she works and where she is also a teacher at the art academy.
Van Ittersum is not only a photographer, she is also a multi- media artist, very much influenced by the theatre.
As a photographer she had major exhibitions in the Netherlands and several exhibitions in Europe and the USA.
Museums and galleries showed her work as well as in solo exhibitions as in group shows.
Barbara van Ittersum had several publications in Holland and Italy.
