Michel Van Dijk, born in Amsterdam, The Netherlands (1950) started singing in a local band, when he was 15 years old.

Michel got noticed because of his incredible voice and he became the singer of Les Baroques, a quite known band in those days in The Netherlands.

Michel van Dijk toured through Europe with Exception, and after Exception his big success came in 1974 with the legendary band Alquin. Van Dijk made several albums, not only with the bands of which he was the singer, but also on solo projects of several known musicians.

The last 4 years Michel van Dijk works with Marc Klaassen under the name "Duo Klaassen" & "Van Dijk"
